These two dogs were recently rescued by Alexandria, IN Police Department. They were abandoned in a house for three months and were getting fed but were NOT being let out. Consequently, they lived in filth during this time. The black dog (Lynus) is 2.5 years old and is a Lab/Pitt mix. Up to date (UTD) on shots but needs neutered. The brown dog is Duke , 5 year old that is neutered and UTD on shots. Recent vet check revealed an ACL tear of back leg that will need surgery. Dogs are currently in the care and custody of Heart of Hoosierland Humane Society and we need to find families for them ASAP. Also a big thank you to Alexandria Animal Hospital for providing urgent medical care to treat skin conditions/fleas/update vaccines etc. it does take a village!

These dogs are very sweet and get along great. They will both make wonderful pets and deserve so much better than what they have received thus far.
